Hi, I’m a transgender licensed clinical social worker with a passion for providing compassionate care. My therapeutic style combines several approaches, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Seeking Safety, and Trauma-Focused techniques. I offer secure online therapy sessions, ensuring HIPAA compliance through platforms like Doxy and iPlum. I’m here to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) and have worked with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults from AB109 backgrounds. My experience extends to supporting those with chronic health challenges and individuals meeting criteria for Full Service Partnership (FSP). I also have experience conducting assessments with acute psychiatric patients and individuals with chronic substance abuse histories in inpatient settings.
I specialize in addressing the following:
Over the years, I’ve developed a unique skill set. I have certifications in Co-Occurring Disorders from UCLA, Seeking Safety from Pacific Clinics, and Trauma-Informed Practices for Schools (T.I.P.S.). I’ve also undergone specialized training in Child Abuse Awareness Reporting and gained a 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocacy Training Certificate from Laura’s House. These experiences have shaped my understanding of mental health and trauma, allowing me to provide focused support for anxiety, depression, domestic violence, substance abuse, and LGBTQ+ issues.
When you join me for a session, expect a conversational atmosphere where you can discuss anything on your mind. I use secure online therapy platforms like Doxy and iPlum, ensuring our virtual sessions are HIPAA compliant. Whether you’re struggling with emotional stress, facing substance abuse challenges, or navigating complex relationships, I’m here to guide you with empathy and understanding.
If you’re looking for a non-judgmental space to start your healing journey, let’s talk. I’m here to listen, support, and help you find a way forward.
