She is especially passionate about supporting high-functioning individuals experiencing emotional exhaustion, chronic stress, and burnout. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, she helps clients better understand unhealthy patterns, reconnect with themselves, and restore balance in their lives.

Jennifer also has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence and trauma. She is deeply committed to helping survivors process painful experiences, rebuild self-worth, restore a sense of safety, and reclaim their voice and personal power. She understands that healing from trauma takes courage and is honored to walk alongside clients with compassion, empathy, and steady support throughout their journey.

Jennifer Robinson, LMFT

With extensive experience in both community mental health and private practice settings, Jennifer has worked with individuals and families facing complex emotional, relational, and systemic challenges. She is particularly skilled in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who may be struggling with stress, behavioral challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, or difficulties with emotional regulation.

Jennifer utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Seeking Safety, strengths-based interventions, and trauma-informed care to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical—helping clients gain deeper insight while building tools they can apply in everyday life.

My Approach

Jennifer earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles and her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. Her diverse educational and professional background allows her to connect with clients through both clinical expertise and thoughtful communication.

Jennifer’s goal is to help clients feel supported, empowered, and equipped with the tools they need to move forward with confidence, healing, and resilience. She believes that meaningful change is possible and is dedicated to helping clients create lasting growth and emotional well-being.

Outside of her professional role, Jennifer enjoys dancing, attending concerts and plays, playing games, traveling, and making memories with friends and family. She believes that connection, laughter, and shared experiences are important parts of a fulfilling life and strives to bring that same sense of authenticity, warmth, and balance into her work with clients.
